| OnLine English fee schedule |
|
The OnLine English standard fee is based on a standard turn-around time. The standard turn-around time is as follows:
- fewer than 400 words, two days
- 400 - 1,999 words, three days
- 2,000 - 5,999 words, four days
- 6,000 - 7,999 words, five days
- 8,000 - 9,999 words, six days
- 10,000 - 11,999 words, seven days
- longer documents, by negotiation.
The fee for the standard service is:
- AU$55.00 document processing fee, plus
- AU$105.00 per 1,000 words.
The standard fee may be varied by the application of discounts and surcharges (below).
All fees are expressed in Australian dollars. While exchange rates vary, currently one Australian dollar is approximately equivalent to US$0.80, 0.6 EUR or 94 Yen. Exchange rates are provided by Xenon Laboratories Inc.
The fee is based on the number of words contained in the original, unedited version of the document as received by OnLine English. Mathematical formulae, numbers within tables, and LaTeX commands are not included in the number of words used to calculate the fee.

Large document discount |
|
Documents containing more than 8,000 words qualify for a large-document discount, as follows.
- 8,000 - 14,999 words, 5%
- 15,000 words or more, 10%.

| Express surcharge |
|
|
Clients who require a rapid turn-around time may request the OnLine English express service, for which an express surcharge is payable. The express turn-around time is half the standard turn-around time. The express surcharge is 50% of the standard fee.

| Reformatting surcharge |
|
Clients whose documents do not conform to the Instructions to Authors for their intended journal may request the OnLine English reformatting service.
- For reformatting the text only, a 25% surcharge applies
- For reformatting the references only, a 30% surcharge applies.
- For reformatting both the text and the references, a 50% surcharge applies.
If the reformatting service is requested, then the turn-around time is increased by 24-48 hours (12-24 hours if the Express service is requested).
The reformatting service is not available for LaTeX documents.

| Heavy-editing surcharge |
|
|
If the English language of a document is of a poor standard, such that it will require a large number of changes, then a heavy-editing surcharge is applied, and the turn-around time may be increased. |

| Follow-up and re-editing services |
|
|
If minor changes are made to a document that has been revised by OnLine English, then our editors remain available to check them and to answer questions, even after payment has been made. There is no additional fee for this service, unless follow-up requests take an excessive amount of time to process.
If significant changes or additions are made to a document that has been revised by OnLine English, then a fee is charged to check them, depending on the amount of work required.
If substantial changes are made to a document that has been revised by OnLine English, then we re-edit the entire document. This enables us to maintain your OnLine English quality guarantee.
While OnLine English takes all reasonable care with the conversion of documents, final responsibility for the meaning and use of the document remains wholly with the client. OnLine English and its consultants disclaim all liability for any loss, damage or injury resulting from the use of edited material.
