There is no additional fee for this service, unless follow-up requests take an excessive amount of time to process.

If you extensively revise your document and it requires re-editing, then our re-editing discount will apply to the normal editing fee (see: OnLine English fee schedule).

How to avoid extra fees

1. Send only the final draft of your document to OLE for editing. Clients who send early/unfinished drafts of their documents will need to make more follow-up requests and may need to pay additional fees.

2. Send all your queries in a single follow-up request. If you send many follow-up requests, you may need to pay additional fees. We have a limit of six follow-up requests per order.

3. Send all your queries within three months.

Fees for follow-up requests

One time unit is accumulated for each follow-up request received, to cover administrative costs.
One time unit is also accumulated for each quarter hour required by the editing team to check your changes and answer your queries, except for the first quarter hour, which is waived.
If your follow-up requests accumulate less than six time units, then no time fee is charged.
If your follow-up requests accumulate six or more time units, then a time fee of $25 is charged for the sixth and subsequent time units.

In addition, if you add more than 100 words of new text to the OLE-revised version of your document, then a standard editing fee is charged to check the new text.

In addition, if any follow-up requests are received more than three months after the return of the OLE-revised version of your document, then a document processing fee of $25 is charged once to cover additional administrative costs.
